Under Construction Building Inspection
This report covers the inspection of the building under construction, at all stages or various stages of construction.
The majority of people rely on the builder to build their homes according to the requirements of the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards.
Unfortunately, this is not always the case, as the registered builder for some building companies never set foot on site.
Supervisors often run the construction process, and in a number of cases they are not registered builders who have studied and are aware of the correct building methods.
Supervisors often rely on tradesmen to carry out building work, because the actual supervisor does not know the correct building method, which in turn, see tradesmen then taking shortcuts to save money.
Our under construction inspections covers items within the scope of the builders work to visually check the builder has completed their work according to the relevant Australian Standards and good tradesmanlike practices.
During our under construction inspections, we have uncovered many items that do not conform to relevant building Codes, Standards and workmanship principles that an untrained person would normally not be aware of.
